Get Access to the SongFancy Member’s Only Resource Library
The library is but a tiny shelf right now, but ooh, will it grow!
We’ve launched with three killer downloadables to get you organized, inspired, and ready to write some new material. Let’s take a peek at what’s inside:
The “How to Find Your Voice as a Songwriter” Worksheet
Songwriters are all artists in the same way that painters are artists. We all have something to say, a message that comes from deep inside of us that we’re always trying to communicate. You may know that you write because you have do, but you might not have figured out your true voice just yet. This super fun worksheet guides you toward your authentic inner message through a series of questions and fill in the blanks. Knowing your voice as a songwriter is an important piece for writing honest songs that truly touch people.
“Songwriting Exercise: Keeping it Conversational”
A short e-zine focused on one tactic I use to keep my lyrics conversational. This 5 minute read will get you thinking about your lyrics in a brand new way. Wanna know what the heck “conversational” lyrics are? Check out this post first.
The “Easy Blank Lyric Sheet Template”
Staying organized as a creative person can be a literal nightmare. Like, notebooks and papers scattered all over the place. This template shows you exactly how I set up my lyric sheets (for every song, y’all. Every song. No exceptions.) and stay organized as an admittedly not-organized person. Comes as a pdf download and as a Google Doc! And check out this post for an in depth look at lyric sheets.
This resource library is only accessible to SongFancy members. But it’s free to join and open to anyone who wants to improve their songwriting! Just use the sign up for below and I’ll send you the password. Easy as pie!
